Prophets (عليه السلام)
In Islam, prophets (عليه السلام) are the messengers from Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) who spread His message and teachings to people on Earth. The exact number of prophets (عليه السلام) sent by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) is unkown. The Holy Quran mentions 25 prophets.They are: Adam, Nuh, Idris, Hud, Saleh, Ibrahim, Lut, Ismail, Ishaq, Yaqub, Yusuf, Ayyub, Shuaib, Musa, Harun, Dhu’l-Kifl (Zulkifl), Dawood, Sulaiman, Ilyas, Al-Yasa, Yunus, Zakariya, Yahya, Isa, (عليه السلام) all and Muhammad (SAW).
